About the role
This role contributes to the success of the City by ensuring the City of Hobart's streets, utilities and associated areas are presented to the community and visitors to a clean and professional standard.
Role accountabilities include:
- Undertake a range of cleansing activities, including: footpath & road sweeping, graffiti removal, public convenience cleaning, CBD cleaning.
- Operate and maintain plant & equipment, such as small & large road/footpath sweepers, trucks and other plant.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and the general public.

About you
You will have a current driver's licence and a current MR Licence (or the ability to obtain), and a demonstrated competency to operator small and medium mobile plant. You will have the ability to read and understand maps, roster and run sheets as well as the ability to work autonomously and have sound communication skills. You will have a can do attitude and want to work in a friendly team environment. If you have these skills, then this may be the role for you.
