About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by providing high-level administrative, coordination and governance support to deliver strategic and operational objectives within the Infrastructure and Assets Network (IAN). The role ensures efficient, professional and customer-focused administrative services, strengthening operations and improving service delivery through proactive coordination and process improvement.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive administrative, financial and governance support across the Infrastructure and Assets Network, including meeting coordination, documentation management and procurement processes.
  • Providing responsive customer service and operational support to depot staff, contractors and the community, ensuring timely resolution of enquiries and requests.
  • Coordinating business improvement initiatives and supporting efficient service delivery through process improvement, governance activities and cross-functional administrative assistance.

About you

You are an experienced and highly organised administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting operational teams to achieve great outcomes. You bring strong customer service skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

You have experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment and are confident preparing correspondence, coordinating meetings, managing records and supporting financial and procurement processes. Your strong communication skills enable you to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, and can quickly learn and work with various business systems and databases. Most importantly, you approach your work with initiative, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.
