Salary range: $93,872 to $96,788 per annum + 13.5% superannuation.
About the role
This role contributes to the success of the City by delivering agile, professional and people-centred services that support the City’s strategic direction and values. As a People and Culture Specialist, you will play a key role in helping the City attract, develop, engage and retain great talent, while providing a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
Role accountabilities include:
- Delivering end-to-end talent acquisition services, including job design, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, onboarding and induction.
- Providing specialist recruitment advice and creating compelling advertising campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.
- Building and maintaining talent pools and candidate pipelines aligned to current and future workforce needs.
- Supporting workforce planning, talent management and culture change initiatives across the organisation.
- Providing practical advice on people and culture matters, including policies, employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee and candidate experiences.

About you
You are a passionate and experienced people and culture professional who thrives on connecting talented people with meaningful career opportunities. You bring a contemporary, people-centred approach to recruitment and are confident partnering with leaders across a complex organisation to deliver outstanding talent acquisition outcomes.
You have demonstrated experience delivering high-volume end-to-end recruitment activities and enjoy developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract talent in competitive markets. Your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, provide trusted advice and balance multiple priorities enables you to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities and a sound understanding of employment legislation, enterprise agreements and contemporary people practices. Most importantly, you are committed to creating positive experiences for candidates, employees and leaders alike.
