About the role

The role coordinates all aspects of the City of Hobart Event Partnership and Grants program, maximising community participation and brand benefit with wide audience reach and stakeholder management. Role accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate communications, marketing and media for event grants and partnership programs. 
  • Ensure that Elected Members and the executive leadership team are briefed about issues pertaining to event grants and partnerships.
  • Be key contact for all event grant and partnership enquiries and recipients.
  • Prepare reports associated with event grants and partnership programs and projects.
  • Develop and maintain agreements and memoranda of understanding as required.

The desired applicant will have:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Events Management or other relevant discipline, or demonstrated and substantial relevant experience.
  • Current Driver Licence.
  • Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) (Desirable)
  • Chief Fire Warden training. (Desirable)
