About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by providing high-level administrative services to support the Office of the Lord Mayor.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate and monitor correspondence including independently writing responses to enquiries or concerns.
  • Research and develop briefing materials for meetings, speeches, events and functions.
  • Maintain corporate records in line with Council policies and procedures.
  • Support the delivery of special projects including a broad range of events, forums and functions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Liaison Officer – Lord Mayor

We are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of local government operations, and a passion for community engagement. 

The following are the essentials for this role 

  •  Advanced Diploma in a business/public administration field or similar, coupled with several years of experience providing administrative support to elected officials or senior executives.

  • A Minimum of three experience in the delivery of high level administrative support at a senior level
