We are seeking expressions of interest from dedicated and experienced internal employees for the role of Manager of Infrastructure Asset Management.

Employment status: 5 Year Fixed term contract
Classification: Municipal Employee Level 7A
Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $145,466 + 13% contract loading + 13% superannuation + Vehicle or Vehicle offset
About the role
This role contributes to the success of the City by:
- Providing strategic oversight of the City’s infrastructure asset management.
- Ensuring the implementation of consistent asset management practices across all networks.
- Managing the City’s strategic asset management plans, road and building assets, and building maintenance.
- Liaising closely with other networks to embed these practices within the organisation.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with relevant experience.
- Current Driver Licence.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of asset management.
- Significant experience managing road assets, including inspections, condition assessments, and liaising with other authorities and contractors.
- Highly experienced leader who supports a collaborative, innovative, and agile culture.
