About the role

This role supports the City's success by coordinating and providing technical assistance for the daily supervision, programming, and delivery of aquatic programs at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre (DKHAC). It ensures compliance, fosters engagement, maintains consistent service delivery, and drives continuous improvement.

Role accountabilities include: 

  • Responsibility and accountability for the operational aspects of the DKHAC Aquatic team 
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, audit processes, and key performance indicators for the DKHAC Aquatic areas
  • Manage and oversee continuous improvement of process and procedures

About you

You will have proven experience in a similar role in leading, coaching, mentoring, developing, and supporting a high-performance culture, with strong aquatic industry knowledge. In addition, you will have an aquatic teaching qualification such as AUSTSWIM and Bronze Medallion certification and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.  If you have a can do attitude and want to work in a friendly team environment, this could be the role for you.
