Salary range: $67,977 to $69,443 per annum + 13% superannuation.

About the role
This role contributes to the success of the City by undertaking a high quality planned horticultural maintenance and work programs within the City of Hobart's Parks and Reserves.
Role accountabilities include:
- To participate as an active member of the Parks & Reserves team. Giving support to each other, while presenting high quality horticultural displays that contribute to the horticultural amenity of the City of Hobart.
- Have a passion for horticulture and delivering quality places and facilities where people can enjoy recreation, socialising, healthy living and other activities and events.
- Maintenance and enhancement of parks, gardens and reserves offering a variety of landscapes for passive recreation, including heritage parks and natural environments. Ensure that all works programs are followed and associated documentation is completed daily and delivered to the Supervisor on a weekly basis.
- Undertake regular inspections of parks assets to ensure that all faults and damage are identified and formally reported.

About you
You will hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in the horticulture industry. You will also have a strong ability to organize and execute work programs to a high standard, and thrive in a team environment with a positive, proactive attitude.
