About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the management and utilisation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data to ensure accurate spatial representation and analysis, thereby supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiencies across the city. 

Role accountabilities include:

  • Investigate spatial data anomalies and determine field data collection needs.
  • Compile and standardise data holdings of Council assets across information systems, including GIS.
  • Prepare maps and structured data outputs using various integration techniques.
  • Maintain GIS and related documentation according to standards.

Essential

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Information Technology or related field, or relevant experience with a demonstrated understanding of GIS principles, practices and data constructs. 
    • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People - Employment 
    • Drivers Licence
