About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by providing administrative support that meets the needs and objectives of the Legal and Governance Unit together with appropriate level support to the City’s elected and community representatives in accordance with the Governance Framework and other relevant policies.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Ensure effective communication between the organisation, internal and external parties by delivering precise, timely information following the Governance Framework.
  • Provide essential administrative support to uphold best practice standards.
  • Prepare basic correspondence, emails, memorandums, reports and other documents.

Below are essential for the role

  • Certificate IV in Business Management, Public Sector Administration or similar
  • Several years’ experience in working in a similar environment.
